SINGAPORE, 7 April 2021 — Canon today announced the launch of the new imagePRESS C10010VP / C9010VP, a series of powerful and reliable digital colour presses enhanced with automation and extensive media-handling capabilities. The innovative Dual Fixing technology also helps to maximise production uptime, and maintain high image quality as production printing jobs become more complex with varying weights and coatings. Built to deliver efficient production with shorter delivery time, the imagePRESS C10010VP features swift print speeds of up to 102 pages per minute (ppm), and the imagePRESS C9010VP offers quick print speeds of up to 92ppm on A4.
Simple Prepress and Efficient Production
As the first DFE-embedded Idealliance G7® Certified System with in-RIP G7 calibration functionality, the PRISMAsync Print Server continues to simplify complex prepress tasks effectively, streamlining routine procedures and improving productivity with high-performance printing. Tools such as Scheduler, Pixel Precise Preview and Remote Manager facilitate efficient production by making print operations more intuitive and consistent, while allowing operators to handle print jobs through multiple, compatible presses easily. In addition, Remote Match helps to increase efficiency further by synchronising print shops, colour, media and workflow settings across multiple, compatible devices with absolute ease.
Operations and Media Versatility
Powered by Fiery’s FS400 Pro system software, the new imagePRESS Server B7000 V2/ B6000 V2 delivers the processing power needed for graphic intensive and complex print jobs. Offering new features such as Fiery Job Expert and the Graphic Arts Pro Package combined with Command WorkStation and Media Librarian, the Server extends versatility and efficiency from prepress to finishing. Operators can manage the various aspects of production workflow across multiple compatible printers, and perform a wide variety of tasks from profiling and calibration to prepress composition, media setup and production finishing effortlessly.
Equipped to support various types of synthetic medias, the imagePRESS C10010VP/ C9010VP series provides print providers with the capacity to expand their offerings in the market, producing value-added deliverables, such as brochures, business cards, signage and restaurant menus.
