SINGAPORE, 03 SEPTEMBER 2018 - Canon today announced the launch of six new office printers, expanding its imageCLASS portfolio with a comprehensive range of A4 monochrome laser printers. Tailored to the varied needs of Small Office Home Offices (SOHOs) and workgroups within large enterprises, the wide-ranging lineup features hassle-free connectivity, remarkable time-saving functionalities and impressive high-speed printing.
“With the evolution of the mobile workforce, office workers are no longer bound to their designated workstations. Today’s workplace has become more dynamic than before and technology needs to support this change in order for workers to work flexibly and productively,” said Toshiaki Nomura , Director , Regional BIS Sales & Marketing, Canon Singapore. “Our latest range of imageCLASS laser printers not only addresses the needs of small businesses, but also the increasing demand for on-the-go printing via mobile devices.”
Meeting the key needs of small businesses
Designed with small office environments in mind, the compact LBP113w and its multi-function version, the MF113w, fit desktops with limited space perfectly. The printers come with Wi-Fi for easy wireless connection alongside direct connection capability, allowing mobile devices to connect directly to the printers without the need for additional wireless routers.
Supporting various mobile printing solutions, the versatile printers work seamlessly with the Canon PRINT Business app, Google Cloud Print™, Apple® AirPrint™ and Mopria® Print Service.
While the LBP113w and MF113w cater to basic printing needs, the LBP913w and MF913w come bundled with additional toner cartridges to meet higher volume printing requirements. Capable of printing up to 7,500 pages, the LBP913w and MF913w enable small businesses to achieve a lower cost-per-print.
    Accelerating productivity with greater convenience
The multi-function printers (MFPs) in the MF260 series empower medium-sized businesses to focus on key tasks by reducing undesired operation time. The scan to email or folder feature enables efficient scanning and information sharing, while the ID card and Passport Copy feature offers easy copying of identity documents onto a single page. Capable of printing on small A5 or A6 size media, the printers take convenience further with PCL 6 print language support for direct printing via various business applications.
Equipped with a vari-angle LCD display, the MF260 series offers intuitive navigation through the operation menu for a greater user experience. The productive MFPs deliver a quick print speed of 28 pages per minute (ppm) with the first print-out delivered in a mere 5.2 seconds.
    Promoting environmental sustainability
As a testament to Canon’s commitment in developing eco-friendly products, the laser printers go into sleep mode after being left idle for a period of time, helping businesses conserve energy and save costs. The automatic duplex print feature, available on selected models, supports a greener work environment by printing on both sides and reducing paper wastage. Facilitating costs monitoring, the Eco report provides a summary of energy consumption and paper usage for effective resource management.
The latest imageCLASS MF260 series, MF913w, MF113w, LBP913w and LBP113w are estimated to be available at authorised Canon distributors and dealers starting September 2018.
