One of the most beloved lens series in L lens history is the 24-105mm f/4 series. Expanding the range of Canon's interchangeable lenses, this one allows for a maximum aperture of f/2.8, the first of its kind. Plus, there's a brand-new optical setup with a stationary front lens and a rear setup with interchangeable multi-component lens components. This lens captures images just as sharp as the RF24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM thanks to its four Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) elements and three aspherical lens elements. It can also shoot 8K movies with a high degree of detail. Two nano Ultrasonic Motors (USM) are built into the lens, allowing for fast AF when shooting still images and smooth AF adjustment when filming videos. Two nano USMs operate independently to drive two floating focal groups, resulting in excellent picture quality. Being the first RF lens to enable comfortable unassisted single-person movie shooting, it is equipped with an iris (aperture) ring. The PZ-E2 Power Zoom Adapter, which is available for purchase separately, allows for a seamless zoom that is challenging to accomplish when using the camera's manual controls. Canon has introduced a new era of photographic expression with lenses like this one.
