With its improved functionality, this 800mm super-telephoto lens is small and lightweight. Optimal magnification is provided by the UD (Ultra Low Dispersion) lens located at the rear end of the superb optical system. Fluorite and super UD lenses, among other components, provide images that are crisp, clear, and free of colour bleeding. The maximum burst shooting speed is 30 frames per second*1, and the camera also supports high-speed continuous shooting. The exterior has many focus control functions and a thermal barrier coating to keep the lens body cool in hot weather. A 4.5 stop*2 increase in shutter speed is equivalent to the image stabilisation provided by in-lens IS. You can attach the Extender RF 1.4x to increase the lens's focal length by 1.4x and the Extender RF 2x to double it, respectively. Photographing wildlife, planes, sports, and the night sky becomes much easier with these add-ons.
