The RF85mm f/1.2L USM lens combines a range of optical technologies to maximise image quality. This standard lens has a single focal length and large aperture. It produces a rich, lovely bokeh effect in addition to high resolution and contrast. The lens produces stunning photos with crisp resolution in every part of the image when the maximum aperture setting is used. The aspherical lens, Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) lens, and Blue-spectrum Refractive-optics (BR) lens are all positioned to minimise significant chromatic aberration. In addition, the lens has a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system. Even with an incredibly shallow (f/1.2) depth of field, the Dual Pixel CMOS AF and optimised lens control improve AF precision and enable the photographer to focus solely on the target area.
