Utilising the capability of magnets (a magnetic field), this innovative Canon technology transforms electrical energy into kinetic energy. The magnetic field's position is altered by oscillating the driving magnet, which operates the coil. This adjusts the position of the focal lens unit, which is attached to the coil linearly. This technology allows for the rapid and precise movement of the focal lens group quietly, even when the lenses are large and bulky.
