The world’s first*1 super-telephoto zoom lens with 4x magnification at the 800mm telephoto end, this one lens covers the entire range from 200mm to 800mm, for extreme close-ups. The RF200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM is ideal for professionals and advanced amateurs who enjoy all genres of telephoto photography.
With an extender attached, the user can easily enjoy super-telephoto photography at a range of up to 1600mm. The lens is relatively compact for easy hand-held shooting, with an overall length of approximately 314.1mm and a weight of approximately 2,050g. The multi-group zoom configuration delivers high image quality with minimal color bleed across the entire zoom range. A nano USM provides smooth autofocus for both still photos and videos. The image stabilization (IS) performance of the lens alone is as effective at suppressing camera-shake blur as a 5.5-stop increase in shutter speed*2.
*1 Refers to AF interchangeable lens for mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors, released as of November 1, 2023. (Based on Canon internal surveys).

Note: This lens is equipped with a focus/control ring that integrates the focus ring and the control ring.
