The RF100-300mm f/2.8L IS USM lens is a highly versatile zoom lens that combines the best qualities of multiple traditional single-focal-length lenses into one lightweight, compact package. It is the lightest*1 f/2.8 zoom lens with a maximum focal length of 300mm and is compatible with a full-frame sensor, weighing only 2,590g (approx.). The lens utilises four Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) elements and one fluorite element to produce high-quality images throughout the zoom range and at maximum aperture, similar to a single-focal-length L lens. Additionally, it provides image stabilisation equivalent to a 5.5-stops*2 increase in shutter speed. It features two nano Ultrasonic Motors (USM) for precise focusing and capturing fast-moving objects. This flagship zoom lens is designed to take full advantage of the features offered by the EOS R system and provides a notable advantage in various photographic genres, including news and sports, for capturing pivotal moments.
