24” 12G-SDI 4K HDR on-set viewing display monitor

The DP-V2411 is an on-set 4K HDR viewing monitor that displays 4K DCI footage entirely at 4096 × 2160 resolution. The high-resolution proprietary processor and the direct-down RGB LED backlight system that the DP-V2411 is equipped with allows for a display which boasts uniform brightness and color as well as faithful color reproduction. The monitor also incorporates features that support integration with the Canon Cinema EOS series cameras as well as ARRI digital cinema cameras. HDR standards such as Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and Perceptual Quantizer (PQ) are also supported. Weighting a mere 12kg — lightweight for a 24-inch professional 4K monitor — and equipped with an XLR terminal that enables direct power from a 24V source, the DP-V2411 is designed for on-set mobility.

12G-SDI Interfaces That Enable 4K Transmission With A Single Cable

The DP-V2411 is equipped with eight 12G-SDI interfaces (4 input, 4 output) that enable the transmission of 4K YCC 4:2:2 50P/60P footage with a single cable. With this, users can input 4K footage in 4 channels and then either display each feed on its own or multi view them in Full HD resolution. These features help to keep set-up time and costs low, creating a conducive environment for 4K monitoring.

Extensive Support For HDR Production

With its support for various industry standard HDR Gammas such as
Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and
​​​​​​​Perceptual Quantizer (PQ), the DP-V2411 is well suited for on-set HDR monitoring during production. Other features that aid production of HDR footage include the HDR-ready waveform monitors; support for two different kinds of SDR/HDR split screen displays; HDR range variable adjustment; and HDR-compatible false color support.

Integration With Canon Cinema EOS System And ARRI Cameras

When the DP-V2411 is connected to a Canon Cinema EOS System or ARRI digital camera via 3G-SDI, users can display the camera’s settings on the monitor and enable automatic display mode switching so that the display is optimized for the camera. The DP-V2411 is also equipped with LUTs that support Canon Log and ARRI Log C. All these contribute to a reduced duration for monitor set-up during on-set shooting.
