Canon Honoured at TMSC 2024 Excellent Performance Awards with Excellent Production Support in Advanced Packaging

SINGAPORE, 13 January 2025 — Canon Inc. announced on 10 January that the company has been honoured with a 2024 Excellent Performance Award, presented by leading global semiconductor foundry Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TSMC) to suppliers and partner businesses who have made significant contributions to the company’s success.
Canon was presented with the Excellent Production Support in Advanced Packaging, a category within the 2024 Excellent Performance Award, for its contribution as a leading supplier to TMSC. Amid advancements in semiconductor devices, there has been a growing demand for advanced packaging in back-end semiconductor manufacturing processes. Canon’s evaluation was based on its contributions to meeting this demand by producing semiconductor lithography equipment that excels at both precision and productivity as well as its efforts to aid TMSC’s production of semiconductors through shorter installation and flexible support. This marks the second time that Canon has received the Excellent Performance Award since 2021.
Encouraged by this award, Canon will continue to improve its semiconductor lithography system technology and support with the aim of contributing to a prosperous society.
