SINGAPORE, 20 August 2025 — Canon today announced the launch of the new imageCLASS MF460 II, a monochrome multifunction printer series and imageCLASS LBP240 II, a single function printer series. Designed for productivity, seamless connectivity, intuitive operation, and robust security, these six desktop printers deliver powerful performance in a compact, space-saving form. Both series are also engineered to meet the evolving needs of today’s dynamic business environment.

    Boosting Work Productivity
The imageCLASS MF460 II and LBP240 II series are designed to keep pace with fast-moving workspaces, with a quick first print out time of 5.0 seconds1 and a print speed of up to 402 pages-per-minute (ppm)3. Automatic duplex printing is a standard feature available in all models, helping businesses reduce paper usage and operational costs.

The imageCLASS MF460 II series feature a 50-sheet capacity Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) capable of supporting single pass, two-sided scanning of originals. With a scan speed of up to 100 images per minute (ipm)4 in monochrome and 80 ipm4 in colour, digitising a vast amount of paperwork will be fast and efficient.

    Integrated Connectivity with Enhanced Security
The imageCLASS MF460 II and LBP240 II series offer seamless integration via wired and wireless connectivity. With the Canon PRINT mobile application, users can print directly from smartphones and tablets. This versatile connectivity ensures maximum flexibility and convenience across diverse work environments.

Amid an increasing number of cybersecurity threats, the imageCLASS MF460 II and LBP240 II series provide advanced protection for documents throughout their life cycle, from sending a document for print to collection of printout. Firmware integrity checks can be carried out to ensure a secure setup that is tamper-proof. Network protocols, TLS1.3 and WPA3 protect against data breaches and network vulnerabilities, and Secure Print releases jobs only upon authentication, keeping confidential documents safe.

Intuitive User Experience for Seamless Operation
The imageCLASS MF460 II and LBP240 II series are also easy to operate. The imageCLASS LBP248x II and MF460 II series are equipped with a 5-inch colour LCD touchscreen, making navigation simple and intuitive. The Application Library feature allows users to register shortcut buttons for frequently used applications and functions, enhancing operational efficiency and simplification of workflow.

    Cost-Effective and Scalable Print Solutions
The imageCLASS MF460 II and LBP240 II series are built to grow with expanding businesses with increased printing needs. Optional 550-sheet paper feeders increase the maximum input capacity to 900 sheets5 to support high-volume tasks, while high-yield toner cartridges with yield up to 10,200 pages6 reduce the frequency of replacements, thus reducing costs. The additional paper feeder and high-yield toner cartridge option allow users to effortlessly handle large print volumes without frequent interruptions that come with paper and cartridge replacement.

    Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
Canon is committed to environmental sustainability, and this is reflected in the new imageCLASS series. Each device is designed with recycled materials, using about 5% recycled plastic in the main unit7. Beyond materials, the laser printers also incorporate energy-saving technologies like low-melting-point toner and on-demand fusing to reduce power consumption during operation and standby7.

    Availability
The latest imageCLASS LBP240 II and MF460 II series will be available at authorised Canon distributors and dealers from August 2025 onwards.

1 First print out time is measured based on internal test procedure and may vary. When the printer is in the ready state, this is the time from receiving the print instruction from the controller to printing one sheet and finishing paper ejection.
2 MF469x II, MF465dw II, LBP248x II, LBP246dw II offer 40 ppm maximum print speed; MF461dw II, LBP243dw II offer 36 ppm maximum print speed.
3 Print speed is measured based on internal testing using A4/LTR size paper printed with 100% print ratio to original on one-sided paper. Internal testing involved continuously printing the same one page of content on plain paper. Print speed may vary depending on paper type, paper size or paper feeding direction.
4 Scan speed is measured based on internal testing using the ADF to scan 2-sided A4-size documents in monochrome or colour mode at 300 x 300 dpi resolution. Actual performance may vary depending on system configuration, interface, scan settings, and usage environments.
5 Paper input capacity is based on 80 g/m² A4 size paper.
6 Toner cartridge yield is in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752.
