Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3)

Wirelessly activating 15 Speedlites via radio transmission enables an endless amount of imagination when it comes to off-camera flash photography. The torque of the wheel-type dial was reduced, making it easier to turn. Together with the dot-matrix LCD display, the ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3) has an intuitive user interface.

These features are made available in the Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3)* in order to increase the Speedlite EL-1’s capabilities.

  • Use microflash wirelessly (as low as 1/8192)
  • Trigger second-curtain sync flash wirelessly
  • FE memory allows seamless transition between E-TTL and Manual mode

*compatible only with Speedlite models with RT function.

The remote release terminal has been removed from ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3).

  1. Remote release from receiver is not available when using ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3) with cameras equipped with an N3 remote control terminal and compatible with E-TTL II/E-TTL autoflash, released in or before 2011.
  2. Receiver function of linked shooting is not available when using ST-E3-RT (Ver. 3) with cameras equipped with an N3 remote control terminal and compatible with E-TTL II/E-TTL autoflash, released in or before 2011.
  3. Speedlite Release Cable SR-N3 cannot be used because a remote release terminal is not included.
