    We regret to inform that a potential issue has been confirmed for the PowerShot G7 X Mark II digital compact camera. Our customer support measures are described below.

    We are committed to taking steps needed to help ensure that our customers can use our products with confidence.

    Issue:
    A very small number of units of the product may be affected by an issue where the built-in flash fails to operate.

    The cause is breakage in the wiring of the built-in flash, due to excessive pop-up operations.

    Affected Product:
    PowerShot G7 X Mark II

    Units that exhibit numbers [21] through [62] in the first two digits, and [0] through [4] in the sixth digit of the camera serial number displayed on the back of the LCD monitor are affected.

    Support:
    Affected units will be inspected/repaired free of charge until September 30, 2026.  Kindly note that any inspection/repair other than for the issue above are subject to applicable fees.
