    To Users of the LV-7490 Projectors

    Thank you for using Canon products.

    We noticed that some of our LV-7490 projectors experienced sudden power shutdown down during projection or a situation where the projected image does not change. If your LV-7490 projector has one of the serial numbers listed below, it may be affected by the issue described above. Please contact us at the support information listed at the bottom of this page.

    We will update the firmware of the projector to address the issue.

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers who use this product. We would therefore like to thank our customers for their understanding in this matter.

    Your projector has the model name and one of the serial numbers listed below, it is subject to a firmware update.

    Products whose first two digits in the serial number is Z7, Z8, or Z9.
    * "nnnnn" represents any optional numerical string.

    How to Identify Affected Products
    The serial number can be identified by following either one of the steps below. Please check whether the first two digits of the serial number is Z7, Z8 or Z9.

    1. Make a projection and display the menu to check the serial number (SERIAL NO.).


    2. Check the serial number that is indicated on the label attached to the backside of the projector.
